In this Part I you will learn about what the law has to say regarding a therapist’s obligation to be a competent practitioner; the importance of properly assessing and diagnosing your patients; the right to privacy, which includes the subjects of confidentiality and privilege; patients dangerous to themselves; patients dangerous to others; and dual relationship.
