Artemis Tegan has been working in the counseling field for 14 years. Artemis served as Board President of the LBSB Chapter of the CAMFT from 2008-2009. Her specialty is reducing symptoms associated with trauma, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems and addictions.
Artemis works with children, adolescents and adults in individual, and family therapy using strategies tailored to meet the needs of each client. Artemis utilizes a variety of techniques, including mindfulness & cognitive-behavioral therapy. Artemis is also a Clinical Supervisor of Marriage & Family Therapist Trainees at the nationally recognized mental health agency, Shields for Families. At Shields Artemis also heads up the Crisis Response Team.
Artemis served as an embedded therapist for the CA National Guard from 2006-2009. In addition, Artemis developed an innovative workshop and provides one to one consultation designed to help new therapists to launch their private practice |
